Following the President’s diagnosis with Covid-19, and a number of other people in the White House inner circle, we spoke with Jean-Baptiste to get insight into what Covid looks like up close from someone who’s on the front lines. She describes the different symptoms of the Virus, and how the severity can range from a mild flu to being intubated for a month. She also discusses the after-effects that are being discovered – long-term damage to the lungs and heart, as well as neurological damage. She reminds the Listeners that the most important thing they can do to stay safe is still: Social Distance, wash your hands, sanitize surfaces … and most importantly – wear a mask.
