Packard talks about the range of free services that Concho Valley Workforce provides to job seekers, ranging from resume assistance and practice with job interviews, to determining skill sets and identifying barriers to employment. She also talks about how the job market has changed since the Covid 19 Pandemic began, and the necessary skills for employment have changed concurrently, as companies shift to remote services. CVWorkforce is holding a single employer Job Fair with San Angelo ISD on Wednesday, September 9th at the school administration building. Applicants will have access to computers to apply online. Covid safety guidelines will be in force, so guests must wear masks.
KJVI got its authorization for the construction permit from the Federal Communication Commission in January 1, 2014. By March 2015 the project was sold to the its current ownership. After months work KJVI On November 29,2015 got all requirements necessary to meet the Federal Communications Commission licensing to broadcast and the commission granted KJVI to start program tests and operate. KJVI FCC licensed was granted to broadcast covering Robert Lee, in its coverage area in West Texas KJVI covers Ballinger, Bronte, Carlsbad, Grape Creek, Miles, Norton, Rowena, San Angelo, and Tennyson.
